SOUND BOWL MEDIATION
Restorative yoga is a form of yoga that seeks to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props. This practice is designed to restore the nervous system and help release deeply held tensions from the body and mind.
The use of props makes it easier for you to maintain balance while you are stimulating and relaxing your body. While some restorative yoga poses are beneficial for the entire body, others target specific parts of the body, such as the heart or the lungs. Props support postures, while gently stretching and strengthening the body. This class is appropriate for students of all levels.
Restorative Yoga provides healing for the body and the mind. It is especially useful when you need to eliminate fatigue and stress that result from your daily activities. It can also help you recover from illness and injury or overcome emotional depression and anxiety that are caused by traumatic events.
It is known that restorative yoga can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which enables automatic control of the body. As such, the regular nervous system will be at rest, and the muscles will become more relaxed. Constant practice of restorative yoga will make your body less vulnerable to stress-related illnesses and help you achieve optimal health.

SOUND BOWL MEDITATION
Sound healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational sound to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace.
During our waking state, the normal frequency of our brain waves is that of Beta. Sound tools train the brain to move into deeper Alpha and Theta brain wave frequencies. These are the frequencies that induce deep medatative and peaceful states, clarity of mind and intuition.
Sound bowls impact the sympathetic nervous system as your brain waves synchronize to the vibrations of the bowls. The harmonic vibrations engage the relaxation reflex and slow down the respiratory, brain and heart rate .
Among the many benefits are relief from pain, stress-related conditions and the ability to alter consciousness.
Shown to be effective in the healing process for cancer patients by reducing stress and aiding in pain management, as well as emotional and traumatic release.

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, and focused intention.
Qi Gong practices can be classified as martial, medical, or spiritual. All styles have three things in common: posture, breathing techniques, and mental focus. Some practices increase Qi; others circulate it, use it to cleanse the body, store it, or emit Qi to help heal others.
Many health care professionals recommend Qi Gong as an important form of alternative complementary medicine.
Qi Gong creates an awareness and influences dimensions of our being that are not part of traditional exercise programs. Most exercises do not involve the meridian system used in acupuncture nor do they emphasize the importance of adding mind intent and breathing techniques to physical movements. When these dimensions are added, the benefits of exercise increase exponentially.
The gentle, rhythmic movements of Qi Gong reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system. It has also been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions.
Those who maintain a consistent practice find that it helps regain a youthful vitality, even into an old age and helps speed recovery from illness. Western scientific research confirms that Qi Gong reduces hypertension and the incidence of falling in the aged population.
